TR-T0126 PTV Visum - ABM Training for Modellers

Short Description

In this course, you will learn how to build an activity-based model (ABM) with PTV Visum, what data is required for it and how it can be used.

You will use examples to create a synthetic population, develop appropriate choice models and run an example model from start to finish. You will also develop policy questions to be tested in the model and learn how to analyze and visualize the results.

Course Level

Advanced

Target Group

Modelers who have experience with PTV Visum and understand the setup steps for a 4-stage demand model.

You will collaborate and develop an ABM in PTV Visum.

It is helpful if you are familiar with the user interface and the processing of data via lists and objects.

Prerequisites

Experience with PTV Visum and basic understanding of demand modeling
