You can easily follow our PTV product trainings by joining the trainer online through a videoconferencing / communication tool provided by PTV. Our professional trainer will share their expertise in a protected environment and in a small group so you can easily follow the training at home, your office or any location of your choice.

As in all PTV product trainings, we deliberately keep our training groups small so you can ask questions throughout the training, interact with the trainer and fellow students and discuss any challenge or question you may have.

The required logins, product licenses, etc will be provided to you before the training, usually a week before so you have time to prepare for the training.

All you need to provide yourself is a suitable desktop or laptop computer. Your computer should be equipped with a microphone and speaker, alternatively a headset. A webcam is optional. For a succesful participation, we recommend the use of a second monitor, one to follow the trainer and presentation and one for working in parallel on the exercises in our software. We strongly recommend an external keyboard and mouse for easier navigation.

PTV provides you with the link to the conferencing software, you don't need to purchase a software, register or create an account. The instructions for which software we use and how to join, will be provided before the training.

You will also receive a software license for the PTV products used during the training session. Please make sure to install and activate the software in good time before the training. For download and installation on your personal computer, you may need administrator privileges or may need to contact your IT departement. For system requirements, please refer to our support page.

In short, what you need to prepare is:

• a computer that meets the system requirements of the PTV software
• speaker and microphone or headset
• second computer screen, mouse and keyboard are recommended
• an internet connection that is stable and has a bandwidth of >1.5 Mbit/s. Slower bandwiths should work too, but may not give a satisfying experience
• install the latest version of the PTV software used in the course and activate the license provided by PTV before the course starts

Usually, if not stated otherwise, our full day training starts at 9 am (9:00) and ends around 4:45 pm (16:45) local time at the location of the trainer. For online trainings, the time zone and scheduled course times are stated next to the course when booking. Times are preliminary and can change due to organisational reasons. You will receive a time confirmation and all required details with your booking confirmation.

A typical schedule for a full training day:

• Session 1: 9am-10:30 am / 9:00-10:30
• Break 15 min
• Session 2: 10:45am-12:15 pm / 10:45-12:15
• Lunch Break 75 min
• Session 3: 1:30pm-3:00 pm / 13:30-15:00
• Break 15 min
• Session 4: 3:15pm-4:45 pm / 15:15-16:45
