    In this eight-hour course provides insights and procedures commonly used to review finished PTV Vissim microsimulation traffic studies.
    It is designed to be a starting point for developing reviewing processes, presenting workflow recommendations, best practices, and sample layouts that can streamline the review process.

    • Learn how to check the quality of the physical network; links, speed settings, traffic control.
    • Learn how to validate the demand applied to the network; routes, vehicle inputs, turn/link counts.
    • Learn how to validate calibration settings; driver behaviors, gap acceptances, etc.
    • Learn how to validate the outputs and results generated by the simulations.
    • Learn how to use layouts within PTV Vissim to improve efficiency when reviewing models
    • Discuss implementation of recommended values or defaults to mitigate potential discrepancies in future models; fleet settings, speed distributions, class names, etc.
